Nice thing about Youmail (and GV, too, really) is that it can email your voicemail AND a transcription to whatever email you like. I’m just beginning to test this, but I’m thinking it will be really efficient to scan through the text of most emails rather than listening to them. (Especially if you are sitting in a particularly boring meeting!)

Google bought a Skype competitor, Gizmo5, recently. I think we’re going to see them put out a true VOIP service that’s completely integrated with Google Voice. I’ll probably make the switch to Google Voice at that point. Will probably just use Skype for IM then.
